I am a former glasses wearer who recently had cataract surgery. With new lens implants, I don't need glasses for distance - just for reading. So I bought reading glasses. They drove me crazy. I used to wear bifocals with my prescription glasses and just naturally could read through the bifocal lens and see distance with the upper lens. With readers you can't do that, so I was constantly taking the readers off and on. These bifocal readers are the answer. Now I can read and look distant without taking the glasses off.

I am extremely happy with these glasses. I walk around the house all day, even though I have readers in every room, looking for readers because I need to see something more closely...they are always "over there". I put these on when I get up and if I need to see something more closely I am good to go.These can be worn anywhere. I also like to read during commercials, which seem to go on forever, while watching TV and these are perfect for the purpose. I would highly recommend these if you are a person who has readers hanging around your neck and certainly the price is right.

I have to say that these glasses are super. The clarity in the top portion, the part without correction, is even fantastic. The frames fit nice and feel good. I am going to buy more. I have purchased bifocal readers from other places and this is the first time that the part without correction has been so sharp.

I love these glasses. Fit well and the bifocal is in the right place for reading. I dont need glasses otherwise so I kept pulling them on and off my face all day long. These allow me to wear them all day, so maybe I will not replace them. But will order an extra pair just in case. Highly recommend if you need magnifiers to read.
